Blended Learning Surgery Sessions @ GwE
We are keen to offer an ‘optional Surgery’ session to Headteacher and / or Teachers on the blended learning models and exemplars, a digital update and plans to support schools with accelerated learning. The session will be a series of 4 short presentations and an opportunity for you to ask questions about what you have heard and seen from GwE SIAs who have been part of the team who have been developing them.
The English medium session will take place at 15:30 – 16:45 on Thursday 16 July.

GwE Webinar – Introduction to Hwb for Primary Schools
In this webinar we will provide an overview of all the services available through the Hwb digital learning platform. This will be an opportunity for your practitioners to consider what services are going to help them develop and facilitate teaching and learning during this period of distance learning and on their return to the classroom. The session is suitable for all teachers, middle and senior leaders from the primary sector. We will provide a short overview of the following services:
– Flipgrid
– Google for Education
– Screencastify
– J2£
– Office 365
– Adobe Spark
The session will be run through MS Teams and you will have the opportunity to send questions to the team during the presentations. We suggest you download the full version of MS Teams before joining by following the following steps – https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/microsoft-365/microsoft-teams/download-app . After downloading Teams you will need to log in using your Hwb email address. If you log in using a different email address you will not be able to join. Once you have done this click on the link below to join. This is a webinar so your camera and microphone will not be used.
